Solution two: Clear the jam from the printer. Please perform the following steps from this HP article to fix paper jam issues: If the printer doesn’t power ON then please manually power it ON. Reconnect the power cable to print and the printer should power ON by itself. The printer should be directly connected to the wall outlet and not to a surge protector.Press and hold the printer’s power button for 15 seconds.Disconnect any other cables if connected the printer.Disconnect the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix: This is purely a mechanical issue as rightly pointed by you. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job. You have cleared the paper jam and have run the HP Print and Scan Doctor and the issue persists. I understand that you have an HP Photosmart 6520 e-All-in-One Printer and frequently the paper jams in the printer. I came across your post and would like to help.

For example, don’t post your computer’s serial # or contact information publicly, and do not allow someone you don’t know to remotely take control of your computer. HP PHOTOSMART 6520 PRINTHEAD HOW TO
I found a couple of links on how to fix a clogged ink cartridge and even though my cartridge was brand new it turns out that it was clogged! You may want to try following the steps for fixing a clogged ink cartridge at or on that second link, I just followed the steps for the first option and that finally fixed the problem for me! I tried using warm water and left the cartridge in there for about an hour with no luck but when I used hot water the next day and left it in there for about 15 minutes the cartridge was finally working! I am not saying that it will fix your problem but I had tried 3 different (new) cartridges and none of them would work but after following steps to fix a clogged ink cartridge they all now work (now to figure out how to keep the other 2 fresh in the meantime) Not sure if this will help anyone.but it did resolve my problem. Someone gave me this great advice and it worked for me, hope it works for you:
